Amelia Jane

Amelia Jane passed away peacefully June 9, 2023 after having complications from liver cancer. Amelia Jane was adopted on February 10, 2011 from the Harris County Animal Shelter on Canino Road. She was 2 months and 10 days younger than one of my nieces. Amelia Jane quickly became a family favorite. Some nicknames included Millie Bean, Dobbie, Little Girl, and Bestie. She was excited to meet any animal or person. She was very intelligent and playful. She didn‘t really like to be pet much, but loved to cuddle every evening. Some of her favorite things were camping, riding in the back of grandpa’s truck, and finding feral hogs to bark at. Even on her last full day, she stopped to meet another dog and wag her tail as we went into the vet’s office. She was full of love and joy.
